About Me
- Name: the farmer's wife
- Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States
I've been writing under my by-line for The Reporter in Fond du Lac since 1989 as a correspondent and officially came onboard in 2001 as the Bureau Chief of The Reporter’s News Bureau in Waupun. While I cover a lot of hard news stories and occasional features, I have always enjoyed telling the tales of local farmers and the issues facing them. Raised in rural Fond du Lac, the only experience I had on a farm were the summers I spent with my sister out at my grandfather’s farm out on the Ledge – that is until I married a farmer. No disrespect to my college professors, the best education I have received over the years has been on the farm and raising my four, lively sons.
